James G. Biddle Megger MEG Type Insulation Tester This electronics equipment comes from a close friends family. It was recently removed from what looked like a very professional HAM studio home. This particular unit was found stored in the attic. The attic of this home had lots of custom built storage that was full of Ham radio and vintage electronic equipment. We've been asked by our friend to sell this equipment. We are in no way experts in the field, but will do our best to answer any questions. Please ask! What we have found about this particular unit.... Handle turns the machine smoothly Needle floats Glass is intact Instruction sheet under the lid shows age Lid catch keeps the lid closed Carry handles and grip are functional Two cables are included Manual included Wooden case included Positive and Negative post nuts at the rear are present Marks and scratches consistent with its age The wooden case and the book have an old attic odor. Not sure if the case is original, but it does have a inner supports built to hold the unit. The top handle is missing on the box. The manual is in good condition, with very good illustrations throughout. Cables are long, with alligator clips under plastic sheaths.
