Here’s a vintage L. S. Starrett 12 inch Hardened No. 4 Grad Rule in excellent condition, with a vintage Lufkin Protractor Head and Center Head combination. The rule is the rigid thick type and lays perfectly flat. All measurement units and numbers on the rule are clearly legible and there are no dings on the edges. The Protractor and Center Head show wear to the finish as pictured. The Protractor level portion that’s filled with fluid contains a bubble that still moves freely and there are no leaks. I can’t find a brand on the center head but it has the same type of finish as the Lufkin protractor head. There are no previous owner’s initials or markings engraved and there is no rust on any of the pieces. History on this combo tool indicates it was very well cared for. Starrett and other machinist tools (one owner) purchased in the 1940’s I have been listing in recent weeks and will continue to list after the holidays until all are gone. Just one or two L.S.
