Vintage Leader LSM-231 FM Stereo Signal Generator.  Powers on.  Lights up. Clean. Untested.  As-is. Gold-standard instrument for testing, aligning, repairing and modifying FM Stereo receivers and tuners.   (Also used for commercial sound work where FM is used for background music, communications, etc.) Ideal for FM monaural and stereo equipment, stereo multiplex circuits and multiplexers, etc.   Has 67 KHz subcarrier function for commercial background music transmission work.   Very high-quality, low distortion signals for critical receivers (that's why it's the "gold standard" instrument for the McIntosh/Marantz folks who have high-end equipment and want it to operate to high-end standards).   Has all the desired features for testing, analysis and repair as well - like 0-10%+ pilot level (independent of the composite signal) and 0-100% composite signal (independent of the pilot level).  75-ohm output to match receiver antenna input.   Modulation selectable L-R, L+R, L, R using internal 1 KHz signal or external 50-Hz-15 KHz signal.   SCA 67 KHz internal or external signal.   FM modulation adjustable 0-100%.  Pilot adjustable 0-10%.   SCA adjustable 0-20%.   Distortion less than 0.5% at 100% modulation!   Separate pilot output jack and separate 1 KHz oscillator output jack.   It's easy to see why this is the finest FM stereo generator you would ever want!
