A very cool vintage Lietz Sokkisha Surveyor's Transit Level.  Piece is overall in good condition but does show some signs of wear and there are some areas of light rust and discoloration on some of the metal. Both lenses are in good condition and are free of chips, cracks, or scratches. You can see a cross when looking through but nothing can be seen out of the front lens.  I have no knowledge of how to adjust this piece properly so I did not make very many adjustments as to determine why nothing can be seen out of the front lens. It could very well be something simple or user error.  The level is fully functional and seems accurate. Comes with an additional piece (which I have no idea what it is used for) as shown in the pictures.  Measures 18 1/4" long, approx. 7 1/4" tall, and 4 1/2" wide at the base.
