The USPS has recently raised postage rates for packages and envelopes leaving the United States. The rate increases were substantial. In addition, right now there is only one non-Priority mailing option available via PayPal and eBay. This means that unless it's a package I have to physically do all the paperwork and addresses and then go stand in line at the post office to mail the item. IMPORTANT! - eBay charges me 11% to sell an item in my eBay store. But the rub is they also charge me 11% for all the money I receive for shipping. So that means if you buy a $10 item and it costs $10 to ship it I pay $2.20 before I even purchase postage. If you want to be angry at someone for this policy be angry at the pathetic and parasitic eBay sellers who, for years, screwed eBay out of their fees by selling a $10 item for .99 cents and then charging $15 to ship it. Don't blame eBay or me - sleazy sellers made this happen. Attention Canadian buyers!!!! International shipping rates listed are often much less for Canada.
