  VINTAGE PERFECTION 2 GALLON LYE SOLUTION TANK CROCK STONEWARE Description A Blue and White 2 Gallon Stoneware Lye Solution Dispenser from Perfection Mfg. Co. with Original Spigots and the super hard to find COVER. In good Condition.     Lye Solution Dispenser This uncommon Blue and White Stoneware Lye Solution Dispenser made by Perfection. Dating between 1900 and 1920, this beauty reads, PERFECTION MFG. CO., MINNEAPOUIS MINN. other info; Capacity 2 Gallons. Lye Solution. Dissolve a 13 oz. can of fresh lye in a gallon of water to make a stock solution. Add 3/4 of a pint of the above stock solution to the jar and fill up the remainder with water. Keep contents from freezing. Do not allow any lye solution to come into contact with the aluminum milker pails. Comes with the original 2 spigots as well. With the spigots it Measures 15"   Excellent Condition. No rim cracks, or restoration.  Please view the full gallery of pictures as part of the description.
