This auction is for a vintage portable grain moisture level tester. It had leaking batteries in it which has caused some corrosion. I seem to remember possibly two "D" cell batteries and one odd ball square battery from which there is one end of in the bottom of the case (see last picture). I think this unit could possibly be fixed and made to work again. I think the principle that it works on is that of electrical conductivity. When that is measured, the moisture level can be extrapolated. Unit is supplied with a number of charts for that purpose as well as general instructions. This test unit is sold "as is", noting that it does need repair. I am offering this vintage farm tool with no reserve, buyer pays shipping. Thanks!
