Pictured is a VINTAGE PYREX CARBOY.  It is from a now defunct chemical plant here in New Jersey.  It is 12.5 Gallon / 47.5 Liter. It does not say this anywhere on the piece but I sold one in November that was exactly the same size which did indicate size. This piece also has a spout on lower portion with removable glass stopper that also twists to stop or start flow of liquid (please see pics.) Across front of carboy it says,  PYREX and then REG US PAT OFF and then Made in USA (this line is very faint but still legible) The actual jug is very clean with no chips or cracks. The spout is chipped and there are some scratch marks on underside.  MEASUREMENTS :   CIRCUMFERENCE - 51 INCHES HEIGHT - 24 INCHES MOUTH - 2 1/4 INCHES (INNER) MOUTH - 3 3/4 INCHES (OUTER) CONDITION OF CARBOY EXCELLENT - VERY CLEAN, CLEAR GLASS.  NO CHIPS OR CRACKS.
