Vintage Tannewitz Table Saw, Type F, Ser.#3293, Specs An 18" Blade Up To - 20"

US $8900

  • Altoona, Pennsylvania, United States
  • Oct 30th
This saw has a 5 HP, 220 volt, 3 phase "Arbor Motor" (1" threaded shaft), 3400 RPM, 13.9amps. Although this saw was originally manufactured, 1925 -1930, the motor has been serviced with new bearings around 1990's. This saw was used up to 3 years ago when I moved to where 3 phase power is not available. I know the saw looks rough but is a great saw. Although the manufacturer specs the saw for an 18" blade, I have had no problems with using a 20" blade. Shown in the photo's is the clearances with a 20" carbide tip blade installed.    NO BLADE IS INCLUDED IN THE SALE OF THE SAW.  The weld is broken on the fence (guide bar) and clamp. The clamp can be seen in the 4th photo mounted in the machined table top slot (missing the guide bar). the guide bar can be re-welded easily. The last photo shows the guide bar with the guide adjustment clamp. The next to the last photo shows the repair of the base. I do not know when the repair was made. I do know the repair is solid.
