The VirTis Freezemobile 6.6 is a mechanically refrigerated freeze dryer that takes a product from a frozen to a dried state while under vacuum, effectively removing up to 99% of the moisture. Freeze drying may be a useful method for preserving a product that is (1) biologically or chemically active at normal temperature (2) is subject to physical degradation or (3) requires long term storage at temperatures above freezing. Digital display monitors all significant freeze drying parameters Status lights indicate when to add product Condenser design allows for rapid defrost Unit can be utilized as a cold trap when used with Part #19903 Finding equipment can be a challenging task.
