If your Vitamix (in the variable speed mode) skips speeds on the lower numbers 1-5 you need a NEW variable speed switch. Vitamix charges about $100 plus shipping to fix this part. You can replace it for less than $20. This is the original switch that was used on the TNC, 5000 , Vita-prep models and 5200 and creations models. Any model that has 2 wires. Comes with switch, nut, heat shrink tubing and Allen wrench needed to remove drive socket.
