Description/Specifications: Reflow Oven, 480A, 3-phase, 60 Hz, 150A The Vitronics Corporation SMR-500A Reflow Oven (1993) has room for seven vertical zones. Five of these zones are used for heating, and two zones are used for cooling. This forced convection reflow oven is designed to preheat and reflow solder paste on printed circuit boards that contain surface-mount devices. This machine is also suitable for curing epoxy adhesives, drying, and preheating. A computer which has the following components included with the system: PC computer with a 40-megabyte hard drive. Floppy disk drive which accepts 3.5” disks. Monitor and keyboard. OS-2 operating system. Tracker ball selection - Windows format. VITRONICS software for all machine control functions. Interface to VITRONICS/Analyze loop controller. Recipe selection mode. Up to 500 recipes can be stored. Each recipe contains the name, part number, description, individual cell zone temperatures, conveyor speed settings, and optional conveyor width settings. Datalog facility. Allows on-screen display or download to floppy. Profile plot capability. Up to five thermocouples can be plotted, and the results analyzed for slope, temperature, and time data. View facility to access numerical parameters. The computer control system uses the following error, alarm, and system shutdown parameters to avoid damage to the reflow system and/or being printed circuit boards being processed: On-screen heat ON/OFF indication. Process warning alarm when the temperature deviation exceeds the setpoint (selectable from 1 to 5 degrees). System shutdown when the temperature deviation exceeds the setpoint (selectable from 10 degrees to 25 degrees C). Loss of power or communications (a message is displayed, an alarm sounds, and then the system shuts down). Maximum cell temperature (351 degrees) is exceeded (a message is displayed, an alarm sounds, and then the system shuts down). Open thermocouple (a message is displayed, an alarm sounds, and then the system shuts down). Loss of internal cell pressure, cell motor malfunction  (a message is displayed, an alarm sounds, and then the system shuts down). Conveyor stopped  (a message is displayed, an alarm sounds, and then the system shuts down). Emergency power OFF  (a message is displayed, an alarm sounds, and then the system shuts down). Standard on-load area (12 inches long x 20 inches wide). Standard off-load area (12 inches long x 20 inches wide). Extended off-load area and off-load cooling: Extended off-load 1: 30 inches long x 20 inches wide. Extended  off-load 2: 66 inches long x 20 inches wide. Machine Condition: This machine was working properly when taken out of service, but is being sold as-is in the condition shown in the photographs. All manuals are included. Palletizing: We do not have the capability to palletize nor crate the equipment.  Please arrange for the appropriate pallets needed, in addition to the movement of the equipment to the dock door and into the freight carrier’s truck with your scheduled pick-up. Return: This equipment is not available for return.
