Vintage CHAMPION 50 Nickel Plated Cast Iron Stove Manufacturers Plate done very much in the style of Locomotive Builders Plates of the period - a terrific find for collectors and a nice advertising piece for CHAMPION This nice older CHAMPION 50 Plate was attained through the estate of a former conductor for Penn Railways and then later the MBTA or T in Boston.  This was found hanging on the wall in his office among his railroad memorabilia, he just liked it in with his Baldwin B & O and other very early stuff.  This measures approximately 8 1/2" by 4 1/2" and was more than likely original to a cast iron stove, you be the judge!  His collection included early Pennsylvania Railroad signs horn & bell plus very early Union Pacific ALCO & Altoona Railway items and more!!  Please check the pictures carefully for the exact age and condition, it's nice!
