Revco upright ultra-low temperature freezers are ideally suited for life science, university, government and academic accounts where accessible controls and at-a-glance monitoring are preferred. A knee-level easy to use microprocessor control panel, monitoring system, and optional chart recorder designed for price sensitive sample protection without compromising performance. These freezers offer easy operation and a clear, intuitive user interface. A simple temperature display and visual LED's, guide non-technical users through the set-point temperature and alarm parameter setting process. Alarm indications includes: High and low temperature, power failure, door ajar, hot condenser, probe failure and low battery for piece on mind knowing your freezer is operating as specified. Construction features include: 5 interior compartment doors which minimizes cold air loss/warm air intrusion during door openings, reinforced stainless steel interior and shelves, triple point door gasket, heavy-gauge, cold-rolled steel cabinets with powder coat paint finish, 5" foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, ergonomically designed handle, convenient air filter location for inspection and changing, dual 2" lockable casters, surge suppression, automatic voltage compensator responds to high and low voltages, 1" access port, environmentally friendly HFC refrigerants, vacuum relief port on all upright freezers allows easy re-entry after door openings, heavy duty hinges for ensuring positive closure (Uprights). Backup systems inject liquid CO2 or LN2 when cabinet temperature warms to a preset level. Liquid flow shuts off automatically when the freezer door is opened. Temperature recorders are 15.2cm (6") circular models with 7-day temperature recording capability. Sensaphone telephone dialing systems connect to remote alarm contacts on VWR Signature and VWR freezers. The 4-channel system monitors up to four inputs and dials up to four phone numbers until the warning message is received and acknowledged. The 8-channel system monitors up to eight inputs and dials up to eight phone numbers until the warning message is received and acknowledged. Battery back-up is standard. Six D-size alkaline batteries are required for backup. Racks, back-up systems and other accessories sold separately. Revco® freezers are supplied with manufacturer's three-year parts and labor warranty. Upright freezers have five inner doors and include a four adjustable stainless steel shelves.
