Up for sale is a Webster Instrument Inc. Hardness Tester Model B for aluminum alloys I purchased at an estate sale. This is a very useful specialty tool, it is used to test all different kinds of metals like aluminum alloys and heat treated vs non heat treated metals, etc (if you google the name Webster Instrument Inc. Harndess Tester Model B a link comes up from the manufacturer with an entire list of potential uses). It is in good condition, with minor wear and tear from age and use. It does not come with any original packaging, or instruction manual, or case. There is a number stamped into the side from the previous owner, and there are some minor scuffs and scratches, but all in all it is decent shape. A must have for any metal worker/blacksmith or anyone who works in the metal quality control field. Due to the specialty nature of this item, the going retail price for a new one is $1265.00-$2000.00, don't over pay for a new tool when you can get a quality used tool for a fraction of the price.
