Lot includes: 1. Convertible instrument handle 2. Transformer module assembly (i.e. rechargeable battery charge adaptor) 3. Battery convertor (to allow the instrument to be operated with 2 standard C batteries) 4. Rechargeable battery (see description below) 5. Otoscope head 6. Ophthalmoscope instruction booklet 9. Carrying case with attached strap and plastic clip New kits are priced as high as $500! This diagnostic set was only used for my Physical Examination course in 2002 and 2003. It has not been used for patient care, and therefore is in excellent condition. The rechargeable battery is functional, though it is quite possible that the battery life has diminished over time. Replacements were priced between $7.91 and $49.94 on Amazon.com. The connector piece has a built-in charger that still works. A second adaptor is included, and allows for use with 2 C batteries as an alternative power source. The light can be adjusted across a continuous gradient.
