Westinghouse Geared Food Meat Grinder Head Attachment Vintage Westinghouse Geared Food Meat Grinder Head Attachment Vintage here is a grinding head attachment for Westinghouse appliance seems to be a commercial quality. Made of heavy-duty metal. This attachment has a power transfer gearbox with two good gears. The gearbox is 4 inches wide and the total height of the grinding attachment to 6 1/2". The post that would insert into the actual grinding power source is 1" in diameter and it extends 3/4" from the head. The oval opening at the top in which he would put the meat or other product to be ground measures 2 5/8" by 3 3/8". This is a Westinghouse item as the Westinghouse logo is cast onto the side of it. You can see in the photo what pieces are included with this. It is however missing the metal cap that would hold the blades and auger in place. I just noticed that my photographer did not take a picture of this apart. So the auger is inthere with the two pieces that you see in the pic and there are two gears in the case on the other side. I will try to ad an image of that when I get back from work tonight. I'm told this geared grinding unit is a hard piece to find. Please let me know what this comes off of or any information you may know about it. I like to learn as I go.
