Wild Heerbrugg N3 Level  -  No 36056  Wild-Heerbrugg website indicates it was manufactured between 1949-1951 based on the number 36056. Also, the website indicates only 6736 N3 Levels were made from 1921-1970. As you can see from the pictures, this has been well-used.  Abused may be a better word.  I can say from looking it over, the adjustment knobs all turn freely.  I tried to loosen one of the rusty screws in the knurled nut (below the mirror) and it snapped off (can be seen in one of the pictures) I can say I was able to look through the eyepiece and focus it.  You can see a picture showing a plant in a room about 30 feet away.  You can also see the other picture (through the eyepiece view) of the plant vine quite clearly focused with the crosshairs.  (hoping ebay does not reduce the resolution too much). There is also a loose piece inside of the main lens.  You can see it in the one picture of the front lens. I am guessing this will be a restoration project for the buyer.  I hope it can be a bargain for someone with that skillset.  I also know I am not going to get the listed price.  Put in a fair offer and you can own it.  Keep in mind I have included free shipping and that will cost me about $100.  Will ship to Canada or US only. The item is being sold as-is with no return.
