Long Range Wide Coverage Operation This wireless motion alarm system adopts the 315MHz radio frequency with great operating range up to 200ft or 70 meters between sensors and control panel, allowing users to place sensors all around the property with ease. The IR operation range of the wireless motion sensor is good for up to 30ft with wide detection angle of 110 degrees. When the sensor is triggered by moving object, the motion sensor puts out a wireless RF signal transmitted to the main control unit. Arming The Alarm It is easy to arm the alarm by entering the 4-digit security code correctly plus a mode key on the keypad panel. This system supports two alarm modes: Standard alarm mode: when set in this mode, the alarm control panel will allow users to have a 15-second exit delay before the alarm is armed. This exit delay time allowed for users to leave the detection area. And the similar entry delay will allow users to switch off the alarm after getting into the detection area. The keypad will slowly beep through out the exit/entry delay period. After the 15-sec exit delay, the keypad panel will enter into the standard alarm mode. Siren will sound and panel will call out when motion is detected. Chime mode: when set in this mode, ding-dong sound will be activated by any motion detected. This mode is suitable for alerting the users to the opening of door or window or moving object being detected. This chime mode is only available when alarm is not armed. Call-Out Dialer The main control panel of this system has a RJ-11 phone port for connection with telephone line and will allow 4 sets of phone numbers to be memorized in the system. When the keypad is set for standard alarm mode, each phone number stored in the keypad will be dialed for 3 times as prerequisite to alert users of the intrusion with the pre-recorded message. If up to 4 phone numbers were stored in the setup, the alarm should keep dialing till the point that alarm is canceled or the alarm has completed the call list. The built-in phone dialer will still call out even if the power to the property is down. However the system will not call out if no phone number is entered in the main panel unit or when the phone line is down. Trigger Activation There are total of three activation modes for users to choose for handling the triggered event: Operation Mode 1: When the motion sensor or door/window contact sensor is triggered, the siren will sound for 30 seconds first and stay silent for 45 seconds as one cycle. Such cycle will be repeated 10 times upon each motion-triggered event. Within each cycle, the alarm panel will dial up one pre-set phone number and will not hang up the line until the phone number has been dialed three times. Operation Mode 2: When the motion sensor or door/window contact sensor is triggered, the siren will stay silent for 45 seconds first and then sound for 30 seconds as one cycle. Such cycle will be repeated 10 times upon each motion-triggered event. During the 45-sec silence period, the alarm panel will start dialing up one pre-set phone number. Operation Mode 3: When the motion sensor or door/window contact sensor is triggered, the siren will not sound and the alarm panel will dial up the pre-set numbers right away. The alarm panel will keep calling out until each pre-set phone number( up to total of 4 pre-set phone numbers allowed) has been dialed three times so to complete the cycle. Each cycle in the alarm event will be repeated for 10 times and the whole duration will take about 12 to 13 minutes to complete the protocol if the alarm is not canceled. Disarm The Alarm Two ways to disarm or arm this mini security alarm system. One is a manual way which requires users to enter the personal security code via the keypad on the main panel. The other way is a wireless way by using the supplied keychain remote controller.
