The DSLC control is asynchronizer, a load sensor, a load control,a dead bus closing system, and optionally aVAR/PF and process control, all integratedinto one powerful, yet convenient package.The DSLC control provides either phasematching or slip frequency automaticsynchronizing. The DSLC control talks overits own LON (Local Operating Networkusing Echelon LonWorks® * networktechnology) to enable safe dead busclosing, and ties into your automatic voltageregulator to match voltages beforeparalleling.The DSLC control senses true RMS powerand provides bumpless loading andunloading functions. It can either base loador set import/export/process power levelsagainst the utility, and through the DSLCcontrol’s LON, accurately share loads onisolated, multi-engine systems.The optional VAR/PF control is flexibleenough to allow you either to provide a setlevel of VARs to the utility (if this iseconomical) or to maintain a constant powerfactor for reliable operation. Through theLON, the VAR/PF control also shares powerfactors in isolated systems, maintainingproportional reactive loads (kVARs) on allmachines more accurately than droop
