The Wurth Power Panel Bonder Adhesive 2-Part, also known as Power Bond Motor Vehicle Body Adhesive - 225, is a high-strength two-component epoxy resin system suitable for motor vehicle body repairs. Its chemical basis is epoxy resin and comes in the color black with a density of 1.1 g/cm3. The application temperature ranges from +59?F to +77?F with an application time of 60 minutes. However, this adhesive is not suitable for load-bearing vehicle body parts (e.g. A-pillar, frame side bar). If body parts are only partially replaced, do not glue on visible surfaces as shadow seams may appear. The glass-particle technology ensures that an adhesive thickness of 0.7 to 1.2 mm remains even if strong pressure is applied. It provides excellent corrosion protection as the original rust resistance is maintained, and corrosion is prevented at welds. The adhesive is also resistant to fuels, motor and transmission oil, and coolant. Its thermal stability ranges from -22?F to +248?F (for short peaks up to +374?F).
