How to Upload HEX Using On-board Bootloader and a USB cable Very easily connectted with PC,no need external programmer, only need a USB cable to uploading HEX file. Sep1.Setup Port Click on the Change Settings button and select the appropriate COM port in the Setup window.Other parameters are set by default and should not be changed.Click OK to proceed. Sep2.Connect with MCU Reset the board and click on the Connect button within 5s.The chip automatically enters the Bootloader mode and is ready for further instructions. Sep3.Choose HEX file Load the program you want to upload into the xmega128a1 chip by clicking on the Browse for HEX button or simply drag and drop your HEX on to the window of this bootloader software.You’ll be nodified in the History Window that the file is opened. Sep4.Start Bootloader Start bootloader by clicking on the Begin uploading button.The whole process is performed in two phases.Click on the Show Activity button to view the operation of the bootloader. Sep5.Reset Chip When the uploading process has been completed,reset the board to start your new program.
