Each port works seperatly with a intensity dial. This is a Great reliable Light. Y-Tec is made by Luxtec so you know that you are getting a quality product. Not much need for a backup with one of these units. The headlight is a Products for Medicine made by BFW with a bifurcated fiber optic cable . Headgear is adjustable from 6 1/2 inches up to 7 3/4 inch (approximately). Headlight has adjustable beam Variable Spot as shown in pictures, with precise increments and rotates up and down and swivels from side to side. This whole system is in excellent shape.
