This is a modified Carl Zeiss Condenser Base with aperture diaphragm and RMS 20.2mm standard objective thread for use with any objective lens. This condenser will come with an American Optical 3.5x scanning lens. The objective lens acts as a condenser for the illumination and not for viewing. Objective lenses will concentrate the illumination to a smaller spot and with greater intensity. Again, any objective lens can be used to concentrate light with this adapted condenser base. The AO lens is standard and also can be used as a viewing lens. The aperture diaphragm is fully functional. It was done by the original customer and by the Pro engraved number on the bottom edge it was UCLA anatomy department. The condenser works well, is optically clean and clear and for many uses is quite useful.  Buyer pays up to $9.00 for Priority Mail packing and shipping charges in the USA; $17.75 USPS First Class Mail International (air mail) to the United Kingdom, all of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and most other international destinations. Some countries are now so much different than others on shipping charges that we will credit shipping where applicable.
