Also Great for Boat Building.  Applying water to the cutting edge whilst running is a MUST!! This can be done using several methods, with squirty bottle and dipping bit in water as you drill, make a reservoir of water around the area to be drilled with Plumbers Putty, If the hole is to be drilled vertically i.e on a wall then you can hold a sponge around the bit soaked in water or make a bra shape cup out of plumbers putty on the wall and drill through the water etc. You need to remember when Drilling Holes with a Diamond Bit you are not really Drilling a Hole - You are Grinding a Hole so Go slow and Keep it Cool, this will increase bit life and provide better holes. Important Keep Water and fluids away from Electrical Tools and Devices!!! Always wear Safety Glasses when Using Any Tool These are Good Quality Bits with Diamond coating inside and outside the Cutting Area but the use of water is a Must even with these Quality Bits. These Diamond Grit edge HoleSaws are also currently available in the following sizes, we occasionally manufacture special sizes dependent on Quantity. If there is a size you are looking for please let us know maybe its one we have in stock or one we should have in stock 6mm (1/4"), 8mm (5/16"), 10mm (3/8"), 13mm (1/2"), 16mm (5/8"), 19mm (3/4"),  22mm (7/8"), 25mm (1"), 29mm (1 1/8"), 32mm (1 1/4") 35mm(1 3/8"), 38mm (1 1/2"),  44mm (1 3/4"), 51mm (2"), 57mm (2 1/4"), 60mm (2 3/8"), 64mm (2 1/2"), 70mm (2 3/4"), 76mm (3"), 102mm (4"), 114mm ( 4 1/2"), 127mm (5"), 150mm (6"), 184mm (7 1/4") These Hole Saws will fit any Drill. Questions? Q: How do I start the Hole? A: The best way is to use one of our Guides which have a sucker and water attachment, this is ok if you intend to drill a few holes or a large hole. If you have a Drill Press and the Tile is not on the Wall just build a wall around the area with Plumbers Putty and fill it with water and drill through the water. If you want to make your own Guide simply drill a hole the same size through a piece of 1/8" ply etc and use that as a guide. Where the hole is on the wall etc Mark the Whole circle on the wall and Hold the Drill at an angle and slowly start to gring at the edge of the circle until you make a moon shape then slowly bring the drill to a 90 degree angle with the wall Grinding away as you do it until you have a start, this technique takes care so practice on scrap piece first and always use water as a coolant. Q: How Long will the Hole saw last? A: We expect to get anything from 15-40 holes, obviously depending on the material and how you look after the tool you can get a lot more I do. Q: Will it Cut High Density Ceramic, Porcelain and Granite ? A: Yes. Q: Will it Cut Holes in Glass Wine Bottles , Glass Block and Mirror ? A: Yes - Take your time and slow down as you get to the end to minimize breakout. Who uses our Hole Saws?
