1.3*3 Yard 250 Mesh Count 100T Silk Screen Fabric Fabric is used as supporter of an ink-blocking stencil. Polyester has replaced traditional silk as the fabric of choice among screen printers all over the world because of its tensile strength, elastic memory and resistance to chemicals, abrasion heat and moisture. Polyester is woven from yarn that is extruded from heated polyester into a single strand. The extruded thread is the spun to a precise diameter. Features Made of polyester with high tension threshold and breaking point Resist to chemicals, abrasion, heat and moisture Less tension loss during the stretching process Improved registration due to stable fabric tension Selling size:1.3x3Yard Difference between yellow and white silk screen fabric The yellow or orange mesh tends to eliminate the parasite lights which can reduce the engraving resolution. It is particularly useful on fabrics with a high count mesh (from 120 threads/cm and up), when engraving screened back images or for very fine lines. It improves the performance of the neon light exposure units, as a source of indirect light, like the neon, tends to produce a lot of parasite light. According to our experience, the yellow mesh does not make much difference on a 100/cm threads or less fabric. It is worth mentioning the fact that with a yellow mesh one needs to proportionally increase the exposure time, as this mesh absorbs the light. About Screen Mesh Count: Mesh count is the number of threads on the screen mesh in a given inch or cm, and the different counts produce different results, at the same time, the varieties of counts allow printers to control factors like ink deposited and Moire patterning. Screen fabric come in a wide variety of mesh counts. Lower mesh counts means that the fibers of the mesh are spaced farther apart, allowing more ink to pass through. Higher mesh counts deposit smaller amounts of ink and are generally better for fine details and line work. Lower mesh counts has thicker threads than higher mesh counts and can bear much more stretch pressure without the risk of screen ripping. Lower meshes are used primarily for simple spot color work, especially where heavier coverage is needed ,such as light ink on a dark shirt. higher mesh counts are used for halftone printing or detailed line work where resolution is important. Screen mesh is available in either white or dyed mesh (typically yellow). Dyed mesh cuts down the amount of light diffusion during the exposure process which leads to a sharper print. For lower mesh counts around 110 it doesn’t really make a difference if the color is white or dyed. Tips about fabric to improve screen printing quality The rule of thumb with screens and meshes is that the tighter they are, the better the quality of output. The benefits of a tight mesh include a decreased likelihood of the mesh moving out of registration during printing and lesser chances of one color bleeding into another.  Tight screens also offer lower resistance when pulling the squeegee thereby reducing labor and cutting the ink cleanly.  A tight mesh also deposits the ink evenly onto the substrate. A soft mesh may have deposits of ink towards the edges thus printing with more ink in the center and less towards the corners. The uneven deposit of ink results in lowered printing quality.
