      302064 1/4"x 3/8" Coupling, Flexible-beam clamp style, 7/8 dia x 1" lg w/ 1/4 bore in one end and 3/8 bore in other end. Black Anodized aluminum. Fits NEMA 23 motor shafts. Also recommended for attaching an encoder shaft to a motor. This is a clamp style coupler and does not require a flatted shaft. The clamp style fit is more effective than a set screw as it will not mar the motor shaft. Works on round or D-flatted shafts. The flexible beam corrects for a slight misalignment between the mating shafts, reducing wear and tear on bearings. Also may help to dampen stepper motor resonance. The result is a zero backlash connection.  This coupling requires no end machining with 3/8 lead screw. If a size other than .25 ID is needed, the buyer can enlarge the 1/4 end up to 3/8 inch.  Only the size combination listed is available for this Ebay item.
