This listing is for our 1.54" Aluminum Beams (2 pack) - Our new Aluminum Beams make it easy to create custom links and connectors. - Constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum, they are extremely rigid and strong. - The beams have thru-holes that are spaced to be compatible with the 0.770” hub pattern found throughout the Actoboticsproduct line. - Length is calculated from center hole on one end, to center hole on the other end. - Beams are 1/4” (0.250”) thick. - We have beams available in various lengths (shown below) from 1.54" to 11.935" (see all our beams here: Aluminum Beams) Some images showing how the beams can be used in various structures. When used with 6-32 machine screws and nylock nuts that aren’t tightened all the way, these aluminum beams are able to provide a rigid, yet movable structure. Need 6-32 screws? click here Use these beams with our beam gear rack (sold separately) to easily create a linear slide motion! Shown with a beam crossover adaptor (sold separately). Our Beam Block B pack is a great way to connect beams (sold separately). Our #636094 3/8” Rubber Cap works well on the end of these beams (sold separately).
