You are purchasing one new Parker Brass Petcock.  This shut-off valve is made of brass.  It has one male end with 1/8" NPT.  It also has one end with female 1/8" NPT.  This listing has a 1/8" NPT Male End to a 1/4 Inch hose barb to fit a 1/4 inch inside diameter hose.  The female end has a shoulder for a 9/16 inch open-end wrench.  The male end has a shoulder for a 1/2 inch open-end wrench.
