1" Dia Natural Kynar 740 rod x 5ft (60").  Kynar/PVDF is a highly chemically resistant crystalline thermoplastic.  It has the lowest specific gravity of the fluoroplastics, and is self extinguishing.  It will operate -80 deg F to +300 deg F continuously.  It has good electrical properties and great resistance to cold flow.  PVDF is a pure thermoplastic material and is widely used as electrical insulation and in chemical processing plants.  It is especially suited for components in the chemical, petrochemical, hydrometallurgical, pharmaceutical, food, and nuclear industries as well as paper and pulp industries.  PVDF can be machined to close tolerances, welded, heat sealed or bonded with special adhesives, and pressure/vacuum formed.   Key Features: Mechanically strong Resistant to almost all chemicals and solvents Stable to UV and extreme weather conditions Self extinguishing Serviceable in some cryogenic applications resistant to low temperature embrittlement Thermally stable Resistant to gamma radiation High dielectric strength   Typical Applications: Seals and gaskets Flow meter tubes Valve and pump parts Insulation and jacketing Tank and autoclave linings Laboratory Wire Gears, cams, and bearings Water treatment Process vessels Fluid handling Seat and plugs * C of C available upon request * Please email us with questions regarding machining, we can quote machine work as well.       ***Free shipping to Continental US States Only. ***
