For immediate sale, this is not an auction. 10 Pound Laminating Epoxy Kit (more than 1 gallon.) The resin is 8 pounds of pure unmodified liquid epoxy resin packaged in a 1 gallon plastic pail,(diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol A, CAS # 25068-38-6, and if you research that you'll find it's the exact same chemical as Hexion Epon 828, Dow 331, or Ciba Araldite GY 6010.) The curing agent/hardener is 2 pounds of a thin epoxy curing agent.   The hardener is transparent with an orange tint.  The hardener is only a small part of the total mixed epoxy so when it's used as a coating over wood it will be transparent and have a slight yellow tint. The less viscous or thinner hardener will thin the thicker resin to make this system usable for laminating and wetting fiberglass cloth. The resin is 100% pure epoxy resin (bisphenol A - epichlorohydrin polymer) and rather thick.  You are depending on the hardener to thin the mixture.  It can also be warmed before mixing to thin it, but beware, this will shorten the pot life.  Coverage:  Please check at the second chart at this website, it will help you determine coverage.  http://www.usepoxy.com/joints2.htm I have used this system myself, laminated some fiberglass cloth with it and found it very easy to use. It is still just a little bit thick, which in many (but not all cases) is desirable.  I have some customers who like it thicker and some who like it thinner.  I sell it both ways; thicker and thinner.  The epoxy diluent used in the other kit is darn expensive, that's why this kit is $5.00 less for the same net weight. RATIO: The mix ratio of this kit is 100 parts resin to 25 parts hardener by weight. A scale will be needed to mix this epoxy at the correct ratio. POT LIFE: A 100 gram mix has a pot life of about 15 minutes at 77 degrees F. However most people would be mixing more than 100 grams so figure 10 minutes in a one pound (457 gram) mix. If you spread it out, get it out of the can, it will gel more slowly. I would not recommend mixing more than a pound at a time until you have some experience working with it. I don't like to get those emails where someone says they mixed it all and it went hard and started smoking in the bucket. TEMPERATURE IS IMPORTANT: This epoxy kit should not be used below 75 degrees F., above 80 degrees is the best for 24 hours.  It is also best if the epoxy resins are room temperature to begin with, not cold.  In cooler temperatures this epoxy doesn't develpoe it's properties correctly, looks great but is very brittle.  At high humidity, this cured epoxy may cure with a little bit of blush (a smudgy, tacky surface) when it is fully cured, this is normal and can be removed with soapy water or solvent. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REMOVE ANY BLUSH BEFORE APPLYING ANOTHER LAYER OF EPOXY OR PAINT. UPS SHIPPING ON ONE KIT: Calculated shipping cost per ebay's shipping calculator and your zipcode.  UPS SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE KITS:  I'll combine the shipping to save you some money...same as I'd expect if I were buying.  I'll send you an invoice. PAYMENT: Paypal or other Please check my feedback regarding this product.  Thanks for looking and buying. Dale, PTL
