1 Kb DNA Ladder Storage: at 4oC for six months; at -20oC for two years Concentration: 0.09 mg/ml Description 1 Kb DNA Ladder is composed of eight linear double-stranded DNA bands. This ready-to-use product is premixed with 1xDNA loading buffer. Based on experiment requirement, 5 ?l marker can be directly loaded for gel electrophoresis. It provides simple operation and produces clear image. For easy reference on agarose gels, the 4000 bp band (100 ng/5 ?l) is brighter than the other bands (50 ng/5 ?l). Advantages • Clear bands • Suitable for determination of long DNA fragment Composition 1000 bp, 2000 bp, 3000 bp, 4000 bp (100 ng/5 ?l, the double intensity band), 5000 bp, 6000 bp, 8000 bp, 10000 bp Storage Buffer 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.4), 10 mM EDTA, 0.02% bromophenol blue, 5% glycerol Instructions for Use • Load 1 Kb DNA Ladder on the lane on a 1.0% agarose gel (load 1 ?l marker for 1 mm lane, increase the loading volume for wider lane ). • Suggested electrophoresis conditions: 1.0% agarose gel, voltage 4-10 v/cm. • Stained with EB or GelStain (GS101), visualize the bands under exposure to ultraviolet light. Notes • Completely thaw and mix well before use. • Please change the electrophoresis buffer in time and use freshly-prepared gel to avoid adverse effects on the result.
