To apply the dye, use a pump-up sprayer and a circular motion, maintaining a distance of approximately 24 inches from the surface. If you apply too much dye, remove any excess with a damp cloth. Any spills can be cleaned up with soap and water. Once you've completed your staining project, sealing it with one of our recommended systems will protect the finish. The sealer options include high-gloss, low-gloss, and invisible finishes, all available in both water-based and solvent-based formulas. We offer 1-quart bottles of ready-to-use dye solutions, which should be stirred or agitated before and during application to ensure consistent color. The coverage rate is typically 400-600 square feet per gallon for one coat, with two applications recommended.
