ANGX double-sided inserts provide 4-cutting edges. ANGX inserts have a bigger depth of cut (ap) for a better value. ANGX inserts with high precision cutting edges are more aggressive and are disigned to improve shoulder milling surface finish. ANGX inserts have more cutting edges than APKT inserts. Double negative rake angle of the cutter body in combination with extra thick insert achieves double positive tool angle, reduces cutting resistance and improves impact resistance. This 90° major cutting edge angle square shoulder milling cutter when fitted with strong 11° positive rectangular inserts allows a high depth of cut and feed per tooth.
