This is a brand new Addressograph Bartizan Model 4850 manual imprinter. The 4850 is a reliable, industry standard "knuckle buster". The 4850 accepts both long and short form sales slips and takes a standard size metal or plastic merchant ID plate that is supplied by your credit card company. If your credit card company does not supply the plates we can refer you to a supplier who does them very reasonably. Note that a merchant plate is optional. A manual imprinter is required by Visa, Mastercard and AMEX as backup to your electronic terminal. It enables you to continue accepting credit cards during power outages and is also ideal for use in remote locations to get an imprint of the customer's card; then you can batch out when you get back to your terminal.
