This is a MEP-017 military surplus generator, rated at 5000 Watts (5 KW) by the Army at 8,000 feet altitude. The actual useable output is at least 7.2 KW continuous with a full 100% surge capacity for starting motors and well pumps. It produces 120 or 240 volt single phase and 208 volt 3 phase.
