Hello and thanks for looking. Well we made it through a hard winter but have some great hardy stock to breed this season. The photo of our eggs is to show how dark they are compared to our brown Faverole eggs. This is our 5th year in the hatching egg business. We are offering in this sale 10 plus 2 of our French Standard Black Copper Marans hatching eggs. The french standard are different in that the fren will have HEAVILY FEATHERED shanks and outer toes as seen in our HD photos. Any one claiming to be selling french standard should be able to show you so you can be sure you are getting good stock. These are a nice bird in that they are very docile and love company. Our birds are full blooded and are a fourth generation of Wade Jean and the Cottage Hill Lines, and last year we imported 14 pure bloods from France out of the Margita line. Our FBCM flock today is at 75 hens ands in with them are 12 roosters so fertility remains very high! Our eggs are collected and stored according to all hatchery guidelines. They are packaged in brand new sterile egg cartons, we do not wash our eggs so any that are heavily soiled or having fecal matter on them are discarded as this promotes the growth of bacteria and con not just harm that egg but contaminate an entire incubator of eggs. We only ship our eggs on Mondays and Tuesdays 2 to 3 day USPS Priority mail with free tracking. We are professionals in the breeding and production of fertile hatching eggs, we are not hobby farmers. Because of elements and circumstances beyond our ability to control, once they leave our facility we cannot guarantee any specific hatch results you may have. We are extremely matriculate in the packaging of our eggs and you will see upon arrival that we hold the industry standard for safe shipment of eggs through the postal service.You are free to check with any of our past customers. Our birds feed is custom blended and enriched from our own recipe and this proves to be one of the main factors of our birds being so healthy and strong from birth. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: This is a PRE-SALE as we are running about four weeks behind do to high demand and pre-sold orders, we are offering our eggs at a discounted price through the months of December and January due to unpredictable weather conditions that not only hamper production but shipping conditions that are not favorable to hatching eggs, our reputation and several thousand happy customers shows our ability to deliver fresh fertile eggs and in a safe and timely fashion to you. Please be aware, as a pre-sale you are getting the same great quality eggs but at a discounted price. We will move our prices back up after we get through January and production, weather and daylight hours get back to optimal ranges. We will notify you and communicate with you throughout the process with ship date and tracking information once your order is ready to fill, Our flock is over 100 hens to date and growing so we will be able to fill orders much quicker as the daylight hours increase around mid December, we do not artificially light our birds, we let them do it their way, the right way.
