These are new Hardcover Thermal Binding covers, in a Black Kidskin Finish that can be used by a wide variety of thermal binding machines, including some that I have listed separately.  The inside liners are black. This auction gives you 10 covers. List price on these in linen is $8.00 each. This kidskin finish is much nicer but is not a standard product . It is a premium product that was made for a major photographic equipment manufacturer.  I have not listed the manufacturer because a minimum advertised price agreement prohibits my doing so. We purchased this inventory from a liquidation overrun and have approximately 2000 pieces in stock. The 3mm will hold up to 30 sheets of most 20lb papers. To be accurate, please measure the thickness of the contents you plan to bind. Anything 1/8" thick or less will be fine. These hardcovers do not require crimping. When using these covers in Bindit, Covermate, Perfect Bind, Fellowes, Attalus, or Coverbind thermal binders you must place an insulating strip of 80lb card stock or 5 to 7 strips of 20lb paper under the spine to avoid excessive heat for this brand. Like other thermal binding products, one can easily reheat the report and when warm, edit the contents by removing and replacing pages.  We have over 20,000 hard covers in our own inventory including many closeouts and overruns from Unibind and Coverbind  and others, both with and without windows.
