Unused NOS datecode 8932.   This item is an earl.y form of digital potentiometer that sends two out-of-phase signals to indicate movement from a position.  Continuous rotation is one advantage over a resistive potentiometer.  These devices do not have detents so the movement is smooth around all 360 degrees. Normally these puppies are expensive as hobby components, but not anymore!  Ten pieces, too!
