ROSE COMB TURKEN PROJECT HATCHING EGGS. These are the 5th generation of this project. The lacing is starting to look really good. I am working on these birds for a good dual purpose layer, as well as an appealing bird for any flock. About 50% of the chicks hatched will have the Turken style naked neck. The other 50% will be beautiful bearded birds. I am breeding for both laying ability and a good roaster. They are loose feathered, and very winter hardy. I am using Wyandotte roosters this year, so there may be a few Wyandottes in the mix, as I don't have a pen to separate my Wyandotte gals. The Wyandottes lay a slightly smaller egg, so I can usually pull them out of the mix. I do my best to ship the following Tuesday/Wednesday after your purchase, BUT, the girls don't always cooperate. I only list breeds and quantities that match what the girls have produced in the past 3 days. I will not ship an egg that is over 5 days old. My birds are fed a fermented cracked grain feed along with plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. I do not breed birds under a year old. All Frizzles have smooth mates. I do not breed Frizzle to Frizzle. ***If you live in an area experiencing extreme temperatures, please do not order eggs until the weather is milder. I cannot be held responsible for eggs that are froze or baked in shipping. I cannot be held responsible for eggs damaged be irresponsible Postal Workers. If a heat pack is requested, there is an additional $5.00 fee I run monthly fertility tests on all of the eggs that I sell. I do not sell or list any eggs that are not hatching well for me. I cannot be responsible for eggs that do not hatch, as I have no control over the treatment they receive while being shipped, incubation techniques, or incubation equipment used once they leave my possession.
