The Small Flat Rate BOX, which ships for roughly the same price, does not hold 120 gumballs. If we ship gumballs loose, they get banged around and the flavor coating chips off~which isn't what most people want to receive. To prevent that, we wrap the gumballs in sticks of 10-12 which keeps them from banging against one another and cushions the blows of handling as well. It is a time-consuming practice, but it has greatly reduced damage in shipping. In quantities where a box is practical, the gumballs are shipped loose. If you would prefer to have your gumballs shipped loose, we'd be glad to accommodate your request. In addition, many Dubble Bubble flavors are also available from onaQquest in the manufacturers original sealed packaging which can be accessed from the "see other items" link on the item page.
