Up for sale is a bag of 1000 Mil-spec Avikrimp seamless butt window splice connectors made by Molex.  Part number 19199-0007, mil-spec part number M7928-3.  Size 22-18 AWG, tinted red.  Each piece is stamped 'MX ETC'.   Clear nylon insulation allows inspection of the work performed and condition of the connector after crimping.  A machined out area in the center of the connector allows sight of the conductor ends which verifies full insertion of the conductor into the splice connector.  This feature prevents poor connections due to pulled wires that do not get crimped because they cannot be seen.  Each end of the tin plated copper connector employs a funneled insulation support ferrule.  This ferrule allows for a second crimp that acts as a strain relief for the conductor crimp.  The tin plating of the copper barrel acts as a 'grip' for the wire strands.  They are slim in design and not bulky like most.   The nylon insulation offers higher temperature limits  and increased durability over less costly vinyl insulation.  The connectors are pure copper plated with tin and are heavy.  These are US Military overstock surplus in perfect condition.  They are expensive, top-of-the-line connectors with features not seen on conventional butt splices. Included in the photos are one of these connectors with the insulation removed.  This is for you to see the design better.  All of the connectors that you will receive are insulated. Tin-plated copper sleeve strengthens barrel and secures wire to protect against stress and high vibration. Permanently color- coded Nylon insulating sleeve extends beyond the metal support sleeve. Funnel ferrule wire entrance into electrical barrel eliminates wire strand hang-up, increases crimping rates and wire termination reliability. Operating Temperature Range: continuous duty from - 670F to 221 0F (- 550C to 1050C).
