These are New Old Stock parts. They have never been used. We have lots of different sizes and lengths available. My father worked on Redstone Arsenal during the late 60's and early 70's. A lot of this hardware came from that tour of duty. We don't have any certification or Manufacturers Certificate of Compliance, but this is good hardware. UNS signifies "special" diameter and pitch combinations. Most UNS threads have more threads per inch than the correlating UNF or UNEF standard, therefore they are often the strongest thread available. Because of this they are often used in applications where high stresses are encountered, such as machine tool spindles, or automotive spindles.
