10 MHz OCXO Breakout board - Includes CTI OSC5A2B02 Description of sale: A custom designed PCB to allow easy access to and experiments with an ovenized crystal Oscillator. The PCB includes a suitable 5 VDC power supply capable of providing the start up current and the required operation current (approx. 450mA and 200mA) The oscillator output which is a square wave at 10 MHz is available on a BNC jack and at a header position. The CTIOSC5A2B02 like many of these OCXO has the ability to be voltage controlled to 'trim' the frequency. This trim voltage can be from an ADC possibly a GPS controlled unit to achieve high accuracy. The trim voltage is applied to another of the header positions on the PCB. If the oscillator is not required to be highly accurate an on-board 25 turn potentiometer can be connected into circuit by bridging two solder pads. The 25 turn potentiometer allows easy manual adjustment of the final frequency as the oscillator free runs. This unit is available in 2 formats, a fully built unit ready to use or a bare bones unit that just comprises the PCB, Oscillator block installed and a BNC jack. The oscillator is a pull from other equipment and while fully tested by us will have cosmetic defects, such as marring, scuffs, dings and dents, marks etc. The sale is only for the oscillator breakout PCB, any test equipment seen in photographs is for illustration only and not part of this sale.
