UF501GWS – is non-toxic and non-corrosive, highly effective, water washable organic soldering flux gel. Flux class - 2.1.3.C/ORH0. The flux is non-aggressive towards the metals and non-corrosive. The flux does not contain any toxic compounds and its vapors are not dangerous to health. Designed for repairs, soldering copper and its alloys, brass, zinc-plated items, copper tubing, nickel-plated items. UF501GWS has a very high efficiency when soldering nickel-plated surfaces (HF, UHF and LF connectors, battery cells, etc). Gel is very good tinning oxidized and darkened copper without pre-cleaning surface that facilitates the mounting and repair (copper tubing, engine cooling radiator, heater core, PCB, etc). Flux is easily washed off by a water or polar organic solvents (ethanol, acetone). UF501GWS composition does not contain halogens, inorganic acids and their salts, harmful amines, amino alcohols and hydrazines having nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity and hepatotoxicity. After soldering flux residues are washed off with water. After soldering of electronic devices, flux residues must be washed off using reverse osmosis water or distillate.
