Items recovered locally and sold AS IS. This auction is for 10x Intermec CS40 Barcode Scanner Handheld PDA's, Protos for Parts Only. These are all in pretty nice shape, and were probably hardly ever used if at all. Just been sitting around here collecting dust. I picked 5 numeric keyboards and 5 alphanumeric keyboards. These are all prototype models, so I'm not positive if these can be used as a regular model, but should have all the same type parts in them as the regular production models. These will not have any batteries included. I did find one battery that was powerful enough to power it up, so when each one came up with the INTERMEC screen, the battery was pulled to save power on the only battery I have now to power on test these units. This at least shows you that the screens are all functional. Build dates on other models I have put online are typically late 2010, early 2011. I tested some earlier versions that had no CN number, and they came up saying they were CN50's, but probably just loaded with CN50 software to test. Even if these did not function normally, which they might with/without modification, there are some super nice parts still available for your regular post production CS40's: screens, scanner, case, keypads, stylus, etc. Most of these are all probably never used, or if used, not very much, since they came from production facility. One even has the protective screen plastic over the scan head, like you see on a new phone. Might have had tests run on them. All have what looks like the camera on the back. There are actually 6 units that say PROTOTYPE on the back, with four not saying anything about prototype, so could be the real deal. They say Model 1005CP01 on them. These are strictly for parts only, but if you can get them to work as regular CS40 units, that is a bonus. Will probably not have any SIMS or cards of any kind in them, but not sure. Have the following CN numbers: CS40ANU1LP000 (4 units that don"t say prototype), two have no CN number sticker, CS40ANU1EN000, CS40AQU1EN000, and two have CS40AQU1LP000. Pictures 10 & 11 show back of two units that don't say prototype on them. Picture 12 shows what back of 6 prototypes look like. Very expensive units, but will start out really low and see where it will go. Will DOUBLE price if doesn't sell in 7 days. Thanks for your time.
