Up for auction are 12 WHITE bearded silkie hatching eggs from Magnolia Silkies. We will include extras if possible but won't hold up a shipment waiting for them. We do offer shipping discounts for combining multiple orders. If you would like a phone number on the box to pickup the eggs at the post office, include it in a note during checkout or send me a message and I will ship hold for pickup. We recommend this method to keep the eggs out of the elements and from bouncing around as much as possible. We are a member of the American Silkie Bantam Club, we are NPIP inspected, AI clean and certified and have clean, healthy birds. We keep all of our breeders in a bio-secure area away from contaminants from wild birds and practice strict bio-security so we are confident in the health of our birds. We only breed show/breeder quality birds and our birds and their offspring have done well and placed in many shows. All of our breeding stock comes from top lines from all over the country and the birds in pics are either our breeding stock or their offspring. All of our breeder birds are typey, have nice foot feathering, have 5 toes, correct toe spacing, full crests, fluffy cushions, mulberry combs, blue ears, black skin and nice tight wings. We can't guarantee you will hatch show quality chicks but make sure our breeders meet the silkie standard as closely as possible and we show our birds regularly to confirm our birds are up to standard. We also study the standard of perfection to make sure we are pairing our breeding groups to maximize their potential. We don't just breed birds at random, we carefully select our breeders in an effort to better our stock every generation. All eggs will be marked for date laid as well as color and will be as fresh as possible. We only ship eggs 4 days old or less and include extras whenever possible. We ship one-three day priority or 1-2 day express shipping on Monday-Wednesday and Thursday if they'll get there before the weekend so if you order Wednesday/Thursday or later your order may go out the following Monday to ensure you get your eggs fresh rather than sitting at the post office over a weekend. Express packages are hand sorted so we recommend that option. If you choose to not go with express shipping there's a higher chance you won't get viable eggs so please plan accordingly. Eggs will be packaged appropriately to protect them. We wrap individually in bubble wrap then double box packed tightly with newspaper to keep them from being bounced around. We mark them clearly as fragile, to be handled carefully and not x-rayed. I guarantee eggs will come from pens with a proven breeding and fertile boy and no more than 5-6 hens per boy. I check fertility rates from each pen weekly and only send eggs from pens with high fertility rates, however, I unfortunately cannot guarantee hatch rate since shipping, rough handling, extreme temperatures, changes in pressure and/or faulty incubation can keep a fertile egg from developing or a viable egg from hatching so we can't guarantee what you'll get. If you cannot accept that shipped eggs are a gamble then please don't purchase shipped eggs. While most buyers have decent hatches and we do what we can to make sure buyers are happy we can't guarantee an outcome and assume no responsibility once eggs are dropped off at the post office as there are just too many factors out of our control. Because hatching eggs are time sensitive, please pay right away after auction ends. I schedule my auctions to end when eggs will be ready so I reserve the right to cancel sales if not paid within 24 hours since a delay can make them too old to ship.
