Chasin Shade Bird farm, is a Family Farm that raises Black Copper Maran(french standard)chickens. . we are members of the Marans Club, our farm is PT texted , NPIP certified. we have a closed flock, all birds on my farm have been hatched on my farm. we are working towards getting our eggs as dark as we can, the eggs I hatched my chickens from were 7 or better - off the chart dark and gorgeous,can send a picture of the ones I hatched from if interested in seeing them , I am working towards getting mine that dark . I will always send the darkest eggs I have and there will always be extras sent , I have mastered the shipping dept.(not bragging... to much) lol eggs usually make it in perfect shape unless the USPS runs the box over... as with all orders there is that chance when it comes to the postal service that is why I always send extras. the bloodline I have is greenfire. we have not mixed any other bloodline with these. marans are always a work in progress. the birds and eggs you see in my photos are my actual birds.
