12+ Black Copper Marans Hatching Eggs. Black Copper Marans is a heavy breed known for their delicious large dark chocolate brown eggs. They are beautiful birds with a great personality. Our line has nice dark eggs and feathered shanks. The eggs are starting to lighten up a bit this late in the season. The last photo of eight eggs in a carton is the most recent and shows the lighter color. Eggs are gathered fresh (within 3 days) and stored at 60 degrees Fahrenheit until shipping. Fertility rate is 93% over the past 2 months. Due to many variables (shipping, handling, incubation, etc.) we cannot guarantee hatch rates. We breed for egg color and SOP but cannot guarantee either for resulting chicks. *New packaging as of July 19, 2021. Eggs are individually packed into sections of pool noodles and then into a padded box labeled with fragile and live fish stickers. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail Monday through Thursday. Please send us a message with your phone number, if you want the eggs held at the post office for pick up. Once we have shipped the eggs there are no refunds. We pack well but cannot control how USPS handles them. If you receive broken eggs you can submit a claim to USPS. We do not offer refunds. We are a small family farm that is NPIP AI and TP clean in Maryland. We also sell F1, BC1, and BC2 Olive Egger hatching eggs. Thank you!
