Impulse hand sealers with Copper Transformer inside which offers long serving life  are a great option for lower volume applications such as the sealing of plastic bags and poly-tubing. Impulse sealers apply a brief impulse of heat to close the bag and provide a durable seal. This impulse hand sealer has a 2 mm seal, ideal for sealing products that are 6 mil thick or less. One rule of thumb is to purchase a sealer that is 2 inches larger than the widest bag that needs to be heat sealed. The extra inch on each side of the bag will allow a strong seal and faster operation. Impulse hand sealers create excellent air and watertight seals on plastics such as polyethylene, polyurethane, polyvinylchloride, polypropylene and other heat sealable materials.
